SAC, or School Advisory Council, is made up of teachers,
parents, and community members who volunteer to serve for
a year's term to advise the principal on matters that concern
the school and its constituents.
The SAC works with the principal
to plan and implement school improvements, and to approve
the school improvement budget. We must have a balance of
gender, ethnicity, and roles (parent, teacher, community
member, administrator) to be in compliance with the law.
Meetings are monthly, usually the third Thursday, at 4:30PM
in the media center. Anyone is welcome to participate at
any and all meetings as we operate "in the sunshine" as
stipulated by Florida law.
