      Brevard Public Schools has a long history of partnerships that involve all segments of the community. Brevard Public Schools Partners is based on the premise that local institutions, businesses and community groups of every nature care about the future of our young people and are willing to work cooperatively to help improve their opportunities for success. In turn, by working together, Brevard Public Schools and the community can improve the quality of the work force and build a sense of pride in employment and civic service.

The objectives of the program are to:
Tap the expertise, skills and resources of the community;
Assure that Brevard Public School students will successfully transition from school to work;
Design and implement curriculum to meet the multi-cultural needs of our community;
Improve the image of the school system within the community;
Broaden the perspective of the educational community through interaction with representative
of the Brevard community.

What Is A Brevard Public Schools Partnership?
A business and education partnership is a collaborative effort between a school, or school district, and a business or organization. The partners commit themselves to specific goals and activities designed to enhance the educational experiences of students. For schools, partnerships bring new resources to enrich the curriculum and keep it up-to-date. Partnerships allow schools to undertake special programs that would not be possible without outside resources and funding.

How do I find out more information?
You can find out how to become a business partner by contacting the business partner coordinator, Jan Fancher, at 633-3630 ext. 1009.
